I am Kierrah Flipping, the Founder and CEO of Afro Qi and host of The Afro Qi Podcast. As a licensed mental health therapist, Reiki Master, and Yoga Teacher, I’ve discovered two major eye-openers along this journey: the need for enlightenment surrounding energy healing and alternative healing treatments or services, and those who are aware of energy healing struggle to find healers in their area.
After countless requests for services, knowledge, and realizing the need for a common source, I created Afro Qi with a MISSION to ENLIGHTEN black women about energy healing, its various modalities, and how it can help us heal from the trauma, hardships, and negativity experienced in life, CONNECT our people with black women energy healers in their areas, and CREATE a harmonious community of women who desire to learn, experience, and begin energy healing worldwide.
“The one thing that is undoubtedly universal amongst all of us is energy. It is the pervasive force that allows for life to exist and flourish, yet our westernized minds are often reluctant to embrace it as something that should be considered in medicine. Meanwhile, it is the focus of many ancient eastern health practices and remedies for the things that commonly ail us, and it can be used as a supplement to the prescribed medicine that we know to be tried and true. So what is energy healing and how can you implement it into your life to benefit your health and wellbeing?” Read more from the makers of GAIA.
